For seventeen-year-old Rylee Jenson going to seven different high schools in three year sucks, but that’s the life of an Army brat.

Moving around is part of the job, and Rylee has gotten good at it. No. Great at it. Her motto, Get in – Get out – Go unnoticed, and no one gets hurt, always works. That is until she ends up at Westfield High and a persistent and overly-happy-with-life girl, Hannah, tries to break through Rylee’s protective bubble. And then there’s Ethan. If circumstances were different she’d even say he’s hot.

So when Rylee’s instincts kick in, and she defends Hannah from a class-A-jerk, everyone knows Rylee’s name. What’s worse is that she starts to realize that being invisible isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. So with the pending hope for her dad’s retirement, Rylee decides to let her guard down and live a little.

But the order’s come, shattering Rylee’s hopes of being a normal teen and having real friends. Her only option left is to choose whether her dad’s commitment to God and country is more important than a life she’s always wanted.
